As the head of our team, Michel is our certified CPA accounting expert. With extensive experience and a deep understanding of accounting standards, he oversees the most complex aspects of our clients’ finances. His precision and technical expertise allow him to deliver strategic advice tailored to the specific challenges of each business.
Michel has over 15 years of experience in the field and serves a broad business clientele, including companies in the agri-food, construction, retail, service, and real estate sectors.
Before founding MBDP, Michel worked for several years as a partner in an accounting firm on Montreal’s South Shore, as well as an employee at RCGT. He also held the position of Director of Finance at a private educational institution for a few years. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs in the automotive industry, he joined the board of directors of the family businesses in recent years. His dual experience in both private enterprise and public practice makes him a valuable advisor to his clients.
Michel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from HEC Montréal and is a designated CPA auditor.

As our Office Coordinator, Marilyn is the administrative cornerstone of our team and the primary support for our CPA accountant. Her ability to efficiently manage legal and organizational aspects frees our accountant from day-to-day concerns, allowing them to focus entirely on the strategic and technical needs of our clients. With solid experience and rigorous training, she brings valuable expertise in handling administrative tasks and coordinating office activities. She is the essential link between every team member and our clients. She organizes our administrative tasks, ensures the smooth daily operation of the office, and makes sure each client enjoys a seamless and stress-free experience. Thanks to her organizational skills and ability to anticipate needs, she ensures optimal management of our internal processes. In addition to her administrative coordination duties, she also serves as a supervisor to technicians and office clerks. With her technical expertise, she is able to manage a variety of accounting tasks with great accuracy. She provides essential support to accounting technicians and office clerks, answering their questions and helping them solve complex problems. Her dedication, efficiency, and proactive approach ensure an optimal work environment and flawless client experience.

Within our accounting firm, the accounting technician plays a vital role in managing client files and maintaining the quality of our services. Their technical expertise and attention to detail are valuable assets in ensuring account compliance and meeting the highest accounting standards. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that all of our clients' accounting transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner. Under the supervision of Michel, CPA, and in collaboration with our office coordinator, the accounting technician is responsible for bookkeeping for our clients and for preparing year-end files. They are also in charge of account reconciliation, managing journal entries, and preparing financial reports. In our firm, each accounting technician is a key contributor to maintaining client trust and satisfaction by delivering personalized, high-quality services that fully comply with current regulations.
